2007 WINNER OF WILLIAM J. POEHLMAN AWARD

The stated objective of the Society is "to advance and disseminate knowledge and information
concerning the art and science of spectroscopy and other allied sciences."  One way our local

undergraduate students through our awards program.  Since 1952 the New York Society for
Applied Spectrsocopy has sponsored the the Gold Medal Symposium and Award, currently part
of the Eastern Analytical Symposium and Exposition (EAS).
